Javier Hernandez has been amongst the biggest victims of the change in management at the London Stadium. He arrived at West Ham last summer as arguably their most impressive signing of the transfer window and although injuries have been a factor under David Moyes, the Mexico international hasn’t made a start for the Hammers since the beginning of November.
There’s no question Hernandez is a supremely talented finisher, however – something he proved frequently with Manchester United and Bayer Leverkusen – and with tonight’s League Cup clash against Arsenal representing a chance for Moyes to rotate his squad, Chicharito could well find himself back in the starting XI.
