Manchester City star Rodri looks set to make his long-awaited return from injury after being named on the bench for Tuesday's clash with Bournemouth.

The Ballon d'Or winner has not played for Manchester City since suffering an ACL tear back in September 2024 that was expected to keep him out for the rest of the season. However, Rodri has returned more quickly than originally anticipated and could feature against Bournemouth after being named among the substitutes for the Premier League clash between the two sides at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City fans will be eager to see Rodri return but the game against Bournemouth will also be the chance to wave farewell to club legend Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian star has already announced he will be leaving the club at the end of the season, and the visit from Bournemouth will be his final game for the Cityzens at the Etihad.
