Leeds United are a unique football club. The Whites have one of the most passionate fanbases in English football, and that was never more evident than on Wednesday evening.
The Yorkshire club’s U18 side travelled to Old Trafford to play Manchester United’s youth team.
Usually an academy cup game would be a bit of a non-event, but as we say, Leeds are no normal club.

Not only did the Whites take 1,400 supporters to Old Trafford, but one man in attendance on Wednesday was none other than Jamie Shackleton.
The 20-year-old didn’t just keep his head down at the match either, he was filmed starting chants in the away end as if he was just a regular supporter rather than a man who has made 29 league appearances.
There aren’t many clubs where you’d see something like this happen, and it’s no surprise that fans absolutely loved what they were seeing.
Aside from the fact that Shackleton was hilariously orchestrating the away end at Old Trafford, fans were in awe of the fact that he’s such a passionate Leeds fan.
In the clip above, the midfielder could be seen pausing before suddenly bursting into song surrounded by people who support him on a weekly basis.
In other news, Graham Smyth has picked out a man to watch in the U23s.
